I bought this game 2 weeks ago, had it fully installed, went thru the
download process and now I am stuck.  Like many in here, I am one of the
ones who are unable to play yet because the error message "This game is
currently unavailable.  Please try again later", pops up every time I click
Half Life 2 in the Steam: Play Games window.

So seeing as how technical support refuses to answer my questions, any
guesses on how long it will take for the rest of us to actually get to play
the single player mode?  I know it is not a problem with my router or SP2
firewall, because the other 3 games have downloaded and are all playable,
just not Half Life 2.

It definitely has nothing to do with my internet connection because I just
had a new 5 mbit Eastlink cable connection installed this week.

Is this going to go on for months, or should I just repackage and return the
stupid game?

Thanks for any replies, hopefully the servers will let up soon and some of
us will actually get to play the game we paid for.
