Hey Guys,

Is there any purpose to crushing more cars than what is done in the
missions?  I did a Google search and checked the GameFAQ's page and I
couldn't find a satisfactory answer.  It seems maybe in the earlier versions
of GTA you got rewards of some kind.  I've not played any of the previous
games and am wondering if you get stuff like that in GTA3.

No.  One time through, I crushed more than 100 cars.  The only thing that
happened was that the crushed car count increased.

I think your money goes up a bit, but not enough to make it worth the
effort.

My 11 year old son is driving me crazy asking to buy this game.  I
have heard it might not be suitaable.  Any advice from anyone who
knows this game will be appreciated.

There was a heated debate on this subject in
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action recently. Personally I do not think under
16's should play it.

totally unsuitable... that's why they put "18" on the box.

Dude, just buy the kid a bottle of scotch, a carton of cigarettes, and a
hooker.  A little debauchery will bond a father and son.

Behind the car crusher is a conveyor belt. When you crush a car,
an extra (guns, health,...) will appear on it. Try different cars
and get different extras.

WOW,  I never knew this.   So far I have tried about a quarter of the types
of cars.  Lots of goodies.

Do you happen to have a web page that lists ALL the cars and their objects?
If not, I can provide one for you, if you have a place to post it.

I tried doing this yesterday to no avail. I tried a police car, ambulance,
Banshee, Bobcat, Pony ... lots of different cars, but nothing appeared on the
conveyor belt. Do you have to complete some mission or do something different?
Or does the PC-version simply not have this feature?

I tried it too on PS2 and I couldn't get anything either.

Sorry guys,

The original poster was just trolling.  The crusher has never done anything
beyond crushing.
