Bio Hazard - 20 Jan 2004 02:39 GMT Ok... I've just completed the mission where I take lance and put this bomb in the mall. This happened right after that mission, and when I received the the $ bonus at the Vercitti Estate Now that I completed the mall mission, there are no missions that I can find to do on the map.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to wait for a cell call?
HELP!
Thanks, Bio
aethyal - 20 Jan 2004 03:58 GMT Man, there's tons left to do. Buy up all the property and do those missions. Did you do all the Avery and Cortez missions? Also, you can do the phone missions. You can't go any further in the actual story line until you complete all the property missions, if I remember correctly.
My favorite part was buying the Malibu club and doing those side missions ... I won't spoil it, but it's the coolest part of the game, really. Plus, that will open up some more missions. Just cruise around until you see a place to buy and then pick it up. There'll be a pink marker near or in a place after you buy it.
You could also do side missions: Taxi, Ambulance, Fire truck, Police car, etc..
Did you do the Voodoo lady missions? I can't remember if that's around the same time as the mall mission. There's also the missions you get at the cafe. Umm... I can't remember more at the moment, but I assure you there's way more to do.

there is a start point on the balcony at the front to the left of the main steps outside (above the garage), one in the room to the right as you enter, and one at the top of the main stairs inside. cant remember what order they are in. the one outside is easy to miss as it is in a place you normally dont go.
once you have done the mission where you have to shoot out all the windows in the mall, you can buy properties. and away you go.

Think you need to start spending some money and buying up properties. Like the Strip club, the Malibu nightclub and so on. All these come with their own set of missions.
Bio Hazard - 20 Jan 2004 18:01 GMT Ahhh... So basically I need to start spending $.
Thanks, Bio

As you progress in levels, you get paid more and more, and the job becomes pretty lucrative by just the 3rd level or so.

I've purchased everything except for the Cab company, get somewhere around $36,000/day off my properties alone and have almost $300,000 in the vault.

any vehicle with (Vigilante Mission) after its name and press the relevant button to start the vigilante mission.
read the message that comes up... it tells you which button to press.

Related question: I have nearly all the hidden items to unlock the Hunter before the end of the game, but I'm missing 2. I followed the standard FAQ and map to retrieve the rest, but 2 of them were not where the FAQ said they would be (the item out by the beach shack, and another I can't remember right now). The FAQ and map are for the PS2, though - are a couple of the items in different places on the PC? I've heard that the game isn't 100% identical between the PS2 and PC.

aethyal - 25 Jan 2004 22:11 GMT Did you try looking at all of the beach shacks? It's on the one that's east (a bit north) of the police station.

I'll check them all, though I was pretty sure I was looking at the right one (apparently not)...is it just sitting on the steps or porch?

I may be able to help since I just completed the 100 packages through a FAQ and all the locations are fresh in my mind.

I have my map at home (I'm posting from work), so I'll have to refer to it and post back...

The most obvious example is a painting on the wall of Apartment 3C of one of those Lifeguard shack thingies...
