First off, do you feel comfortable manuevering the plane? If not, start a
mission and don't even think about completing it- just fly the plane around
getting used to it's characteristics- climb, dive, bank etc. If you are
comfortable, then the key to finishing the mission is starting the mission
with a clean line- I start the mission east and just a little north of where
the mission begins at the dock by the studios- right over the dirtbike track
and then follow the bubbles south and out toward the airport, then west
toward the docks, then I turn around and head north again to finish- you
have to weave around a couple buildings at this point but you shouldn't run
out of gas... that should do it. GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks, I'll try it out!

I've only attempted this mission once and passed it first
time, but for some reason I headed all the way to the docks
before starting to go through the markers, working my way
backwards towards Prawn Island. The strategy worked really
well for me.

I think the key to that mission is being comfortable flying the plane. If
you can fly well, you'll probably pass the mission no matter where you
start, if you're not comfortable flying then you're likely to fail no matter
where you start.

Remember that you have plenty of time if you miss a checkpoint.. so dont do
anything rash.. you can always turn around...
BUT!
if you crash the plane.. and get in on the ground.. you are pretty much
screwed.. cause its hard to get the speed to take off..
I started from the North (the dirt track).. and after that.. its basically
straight forward..

Say what you want, but I'm glad I've got "Dumbass" watching my back!
