Screwed up! Play it with FPS controls, much better. WASD and mouselook.

Using a joystick here on the PC as well. The Firestorm™ Dual Power
gamepad works in GTA3 and Vice City.
As far as the Phnom Penh mission - I'm happy to have the game saved
from beofre that point - I've replayed that mission a bunch of times.
Lots of fun.
Make sure you shoot a party boat or a golf cart for giggles on the
flight over.
As for advice given out earlier, definitely shoot the vehicles. With a
few well placed shots you can get the vehicle afire before the driver
gets a shot off - then kaboom, he's gone. As for the barrels on the
roof, I disagree. They're as small as the shooters and don't usually
take out more than 1-2 shooters - I've even had the injured guys get
back up. Shoot the shooters and keep strafing. Just my advice, YMMV.
Once you do it a few times, you'll know where the guys are and where
they are coming from and can shoot a few guys before they get a shot
off.
Once you get on the ground. Switch to your Uzi or any small machine
gun that you can run with and aim with. Don't bother so much with the
guys in the first room. Run in. Keep aiming and shooting. Head up the
stairs to the roof. Shoot the guy at the top of the stairs, otherwise
he'll shoot you ijn the back on the roof, and you're done.
Keep at it, it's hard but fun and good luck.
