I'm on the mission where you have to drive up to the convoy and steal the tank. I keep getting killed instantly, even with full armor on and all weapons. Is there some good strategy out there that can help me complete this? And on GTA3 I'm on the mission where the Triads ambush me with the big fish trucks while I'm driving the long black limo. I wait on the grass across the main street near the water for the convoy just south of the direction it's headed with the sniper rifle. You can put a car in it's path so that the convoy will stop to clear the path. When it gets near, I pop the head off the guy sticking out of the turret, then run up and hop in- because once that guy's dead, you should be able to hijack the tank. > And on GTA3 I'm on the mission where the Triads ambush me with the big > fish trucks while I'm driving the long black limo. Bide your time until the convoy stops for coffee and donuts at the little cafe. Whatever you do you want to block off the convoy with a vehicle first. You can try jacking the tank, unarmed, when it's not moving. But that doesn't seem to work all the time. If you do 60 hidden packages before this mission you get the minigun delivered to ocean beach hotel and hyman condo. Mowing them down with the minigun is probably too easy. You can also try using a rocket launcher which you can get at hooker hotel, which you pass on your way to the airport. Using the Colt M4 will probably also work, just have a lot of distance and take out that truck with the soilders in the back first before it gets to you . You can get it by Aunty Polet's house and in the moon landing building in the film studio (you have to use the copter to get to it.) >And on GTA3 I'm on the mission where the Triads ambush me with the big >fish trucks while I'm driving the long black limo. This is hard as heck. Thanks. I finally completed "Sir Yes Sir!", firing off rounds with the gatling gun. This is hard as heck. I drove around the back of the buildings to the right of the entrance to Salvatores place, that way you miss the triads waiting at the gate. Is there some good strategy out there that can help me > complete this? Wait until one of them is sent for Donuts (that's the US spelling, isn't it?!) then just run up and hijack the tank. This is hard as heck. Park the limo so you're pointing back towards Joey's place. As soon as the cutscene ends, go straight ahead to the alley on the left (I think there's a bribe there) - you'll lose the trucks in there. Turn left at the top and you're on the street for Sal's mansion. Ram through the trucks blocking the driveway and get in the garage. The only really tricky part is carrying enough momentum to knock the triad trucks out of the way. |
