Got this off a danish games-news site. They didn't provide a link to an
english site, so I'll translate it into english, the best I can. Here we go:

Finally, there is about to be a releasedate ready for the next Grand Theft
Auto adventure. Take 2's Cindi Buckwalter, announced at a technology
conference, that the game would be ready in 2004. She said that it actually
would be ready in the fourth quarter of 2004, so now gamers around the world
can start to look forward to christmas-time next year. Besides that, not
much was said. But Take 2's CEO Karl Winters said the following:

""I want to be prudent about our comments. We're very excited about the
brand. We had a lot of questions about how we could possibly create
something that could compete with Grand Theft Auto 3. None of us who were
sitting here a year ago would have suggested we would have the type of
success we had with Vice City."
