How hell did i miss this one ?

I was taking a nice drive down the sidewalks around Central Park today, and
mauled one good. I was instantly rewarded with death when it got crushed
between the car and a wall. Cool ! Had to knock another one around just to
verify what happened.

After that, i went back to cruising, so i'll see what fun there's to be had
with those carts another day.

Maybe the cookers on the carts are powered by propane tanks.  I know
hitting those tanks are a good for a quick trip to the hospital.  I haven't
had a cart explode but I haven't gone out of my way to hit them, either.
I'll give it a try next time I play...

it would be neat if you could smack one hard enough so it shot some
distance then exploded.

So many missed opportunities, like being able to lug around propane tanks
and leave them where you want, like out in traffic...

Come to think of it, I've done this in San Andreas.  It's not easy, but
doable.  I seem to recall getting in trouble with the cops when traffic
sets them off, too...

I'm guessing in real life that there's a 20lb propane tank on board to keep
the botulism and cockroaches at proper temps in those things. I'll fire the
game later and get a better look at the cart. Maybe it'll have the
equivalent of a fuel filler door trigger point like the cars in SA did. Then
you can push it out into traffic and shoot the damn thing.

God forbid the cockroaches should leave--then the nutritional value of those things they're selling would
be zero!

The fun of being able to put propane tanks in traffic is to watch the cars blow themselves up without the
game realizing I was responsible and sending the cops after me (I'm lazy and hate to run.)
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that in SA.  The game figures out who put the tank there and I get a
wanted level almost every time.

It would also be fun to drop tanks off of the cranes into traffic.  Hand grenades just aren't as satisfying,
somehow.  Not to mention if you drop them from too high, they detonate before even hitting the ground.

Sorry folks, correction. The exploding hot dog cart i found was in front of
the helicopter tour pier, not the park. I was at the park trying to crush
the carts with no success just now, and realized my mistake. I blame it on
beer and late nights.

The hotdog cart at the helitour pier is different than the ones around
Central park. It's smaller, and where the guy stands is an open panel where
you can see a red propane tank. Think it's called Chihuahua Dog, or
something like that.

Unfortunately Bob, it doesn't look like you can shoot it like the bigger
ones in SA. I dumped plenty of rounds into it with no results. Ramming a car
into it once or twice against that wall certainly works though. Dunno if you
can cheat/spawn that type of hotdog cart, but pushing it off a building
would be fun. ;)
