So am I, Simon, but I enjoyed the first one anyway. Daft game but
different enough to be interesting. Biggest drawback was the old
disappearing roads when you were on the overpasses!

I didn't play the first one. The second one looks like fun though.

it was okay, a bit cartoony but some fun to be had. Had all the buying
clothes and car kits etc, winning territory, a good attempt to try
follow up on san andreas.

I was actually given a slightly used copy of SR1 this week. Haven't popped
it in yet. Since it was free, i'm guessing it wasn't the greatest.

The couple recent vids for SR2 don't look bad at all. I imagine i'll be on
that bus too, and thoroughly sick of sandbox games by the end of winter. ;)

Any word yet on what direction R* is headed for adding content to GTA4 this
fall ?

I've heard bits about it but never played it.

I'm definitely going to get it. Looks like mindless fun!

Some people say it's going to be delayed. Possibly added DC as large as
a city for the 360 though.

does anyone know if this is coming to the PC? i'm getting a bit tired of
SA (which is still making me LOL and is still my main source of
real-world distraction!)

I don't think so. I have a feeling this is a 360 only title.

At least Gamespot says it's coming to 360, PS3 and PC. Which is a good
thing, I think I'll dump my 360... Not sure if I'm interested in the
game. I'll wait for reviews.

Anyways, I heard it in some game related podcast recently that
multiplatform is the new default, unless someone like Microsoft ponies
up a few dozen million dollars for lost revenues...

I've no urge to switch platforms. wife wants a wii for the grandkids
and herself so we may get one of those sometime. I am in no rush for
blu-ray so no need for a ps3

My wife wants a Wii and that silly Wii Fit for her and the kids.

I think once they see one they want one more. It isn't for me, I am
not a gimmick person, but they seem to like the idea of jumping around
like a nutter :O)

really? Was the first one 360 only? Not that it bothers me I just
thought it was an exclusive.

No one is really sure. I don't think I'd like to play it on the PC
anyway. I like the PS2/3's controller.

I only asked because I know how much you love killing hookers and you did
say you were looking forward to it....

in the original if you're near some gang members and you attack
someone the others will all pile in. It's nasty but funny too.

Good Lord Paul, have you seen Simon's video's???... well, I guess attacking
a regular person in the world of GTA is okay, but the hooker obsession is
creepy...

Well, yeah Simon... I mean you went to the trouble of making a video about
it and posting it.  You don't think that's a little strange?

It's just a game, Buckaroo B.

Those prostitutes aren't real!

<joking>

If they were, I cut them up with my knife!

Any particular reason? I read through Gamespot's preview, but it
didn't see that interesting.
