That's true about GTA:SA for me - I bought a slimline PS2 to play it
in hotels while working away from home, and bought it for the PC when
it came out. I can't justify a modern console just for GTA4, though,
I'll wait.

My new Xeon laptop is just burning to get GTA4 installed on it.

I'm still making do with an old AGP setup. A P4 2.8 thats mildly clocked, 1
gig of matched Corsair, and an X800XT card. It only needs to run NR2003, but
runs stuff like Far Cry and Oblivion surprisingly well.
But with the news of GTA4 coming to PC, i may sell my 360 and games before
the Christmas season while i can still get fair $$ for it. Bad enough it
just lost 50 bucks of worth since Microsoft did their price drop. Then i can
plug that quid into building a new PC.
With SA, i did fine on the keyboard with every vehicle except the Apache.
Regular helicopters weren't a problem. Finding the perfect key mapping and
growing extra fingers were a bit of an issue for guns and missles. But 5
months after buying this damn 360, i still can't aim that great. The game
claims i'm getting a 40% shot ratio. I figured one out of three before i saw
the stat.
