I found out what you mean, but I haven't tried it yet... Every 'online'
experience I've had has either been by monsters who dominate, or cowards
that quite at a moment's notice... I don't look forward to 'online'.....

I've only tried two open format games, can't recall the name of them,
but the first one had loads of people including small kids playing,
the language was ripe, people were killing each other all over the
place, driving round in gangs etc but some of the kids were really
hamming it up and were very funny. I played for about an hour but I
like some structure so got bored. Next time I played the same thing
and there were only like four people in there, and I started off
fighting this guy but ended up buddying up with him and his car,
causing a bit of mayhem with the cops etc. it was okay but didn't last
long as my connection broke and I haven't been back.

It's actually pretty fun, I played online for a few hours this weekend
for the first time. There were usually 3 to 6 people on the servers I
played, I wound up in charge of the game a few times, not sure how
that happens. But anyway, having been in plenty of firefights in
single-player seemed to be good training for multiplayer. I didn't
win any, but I usually ranked #2 or #3.
