I was playing earlier and heard a pigeon, so I thought I may as well
plug it while I am there. So I search around quickly, then a little
more thoroughly, then I think, oh to hell with this so I climb in a
car and I can still hear the pigeon, which is when I realise my wife
opened the windows and I'm hearing real pigeons out back!

Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago - I heard a siren coming
from my stepson's room, really loud. I was just about to hammer on the door
to get him to turn down his TV (his mum was in bed after working a
nightshift) when the noise shifted as the police car passed out house.

My usual one recently is getting in a real taxi (I don't drive) and
suddenly thinking eek! we're on the wrong side of the road!.  It
usually happens when going round a corner and my mind is obviously
watching for the cars to follow the usual gaming patern.

I have become the game! :O)

i visited Liberty City in a dream a few years ago. it was surreal and
beautiful. i often mention to my buddies that if you were somehow
transported to the real place then at least you'd know where you could
bunk down and get a handgun. nice.

dark to read. - Groucho Marx

:O) As i live on a river (obviously not new York, but believe it or
not there's a place called new York very near here) the scenery around
the docks is very much home from home.

The sound in GTA IV really is first rate (for the most part.)  I was
driving last night with the radio off and you could hear the car
squeak and groan as it went over bumps and around corners.

The car engine sounds, not so great.

a couple of the cars sound positively asthmatic, including some of the
sportier models. It's like they're constantly in the wrong gear or
something.

you should send $30 to The Church of the SubGenius, PO Box 181417 Cleveland
Heights OH 44118-1417. It won't do anything about the pigeons.... but you'll
be like aha! and rummage through your closet and find a virtually silent
football to whap them with if they start messing with your game. We help you
understand the LuckPlane. For less than you'd pay for a crappy third-tier
San Andreas Stories that you can only play on a PSP.
