GTA IV Easy One Man Army achievement question

Hi

Yesterday I read here that you could get the One Man Army achievement
easily if you took an armored car and drove to a yet undiscovered island
"in the North".

Which island did you mean? Can you please give me a hint?

Something else regarding this. I tried to do it as shown in a YouTube
clip and failed miserably. By accident I found an armored car ("gruppe
6" is painted on it and it looks pretty armored) and drove to a blocked
road with several police units garding it. I annoyed them, got my 6
stars and drove away. B U T they totally wasted the armored car and
finished me off although I was driving like crazy all the time. The
interesting thing is that the guy in the YouTube clip mentioned how you
could do this with any car and in the clip he used a cab.

I got the achievement by taking a helicopter (from the helitours place in
the south-east of the middle island), and flying over the western island before
it was open to me, which gave me all the stars. They I was able to just cruise
around all over the map, quite safely.
