Which is silly because pressing a button (down on the 360 D-pad, ferinstance) shows you the same
thing.
But this complaint has dogged GTA as far back as I've been playing (2001) and probably farther. Once
you're accumulated a shitload of money, there's not really much you can do with it.
Are there any games where this doesn't become a problem? I'd be interested in knowing.

SA did more, in that you COULD buy cars, as if you would, and you
could gamble and buy expensive clothes and houses.
Normally my strategy with GTA games is to get whatever it is early and
have little extras hanging around, like weapons in the safe house, but
there doesn't seem to be able way to do this in IV

As far as money goes, alot could have been done with it. having
certain cars having to be purchased, not on the streets which you can
jack. and apt buildings could have easily been rented to by showing
which ones were rentable.

yeah, a cool extra would have been say a place becoming available
every couple of missions, but no big hullabaloo, just a marker on the
map, or maybe a board outside and a marker only showing when you pass
the place. One of my biggest grumps with these games is always, yeah,
it's very pretty, but it is a hollow prettiness.
