What is it with these f.cking dickheads that say driving in GTA IV is
difficult?

Don't these homo nobjobs realise that (on the PS3 at least) the brake
and accelerator are proportional? Press "brake" like f.ck and you'll
overshoot a corner - press it gently and you'll make it, retards!

Damn this game is good! I shot my load twice today whilst playing it!

Simon.

All I know is that the handbrake is a bit touchier than previous GTAs. I haven't quite
mastered the 90-degree handbrake turn this time.

I'm using clasic controls and this is the hardest of the GTAs I've had
for braking on a motorbike. Very difficult to slow down, tend to lift
rear wheel or slide all over.

Yeah, that's what I did in your mother's mouth and in her a.s
lastnight.  Count it, I came four times in your whore a mother's
orificies.

She said your dad's too much of a faggot to satisfy her.  Like father,
like son, I guess.  The f.cking whore couldn't get enough of my cock.
What a f.cking c.nt.

Are you old enough to drive a real car?

The  problem is that the dame is modeling car steering control onto a small
analogue stick. So they have to map a turn and a half of a steering wheel
onto about a CM of movement on the controller.

Worrying.

The Driving is pretty good.... easy to drive and the ability to change
camera views is done well for  shooting while driving.
What many people don' like is getting used to the real physics of a
car braking.  Its more like Forza racing or other racing games. The
only real area I feel coul have been added was the red traffic lights
have no effect if you pass them with a cop there...wish they could
have added that.

Thankfully, I have never driven a car that brakes or under steers
remotely like the GTA4 cars.

most driving games I have played don't react quite as badly as it
either. And when it is raining the cars become treacherous,
fishtailing all over. I know it is easier to lose control in the wet
but the damn things aren't driving on slicks.

Also breaking into a corner is wierd. You should be able to turn and
brake at the same time unless travelling really really fast and you
lock the brakes. In GTA it seems to lock the steering and brakes at
any speed so that unless you are already turning you will just
undertake the corner quite badly.

Yeah, it doesn't really bother me when just driving around, but when
you're chasing a bloody train or something it is a real pain in the
arse.

The suspension on them is f.cked as well. They bounce everywhere, it's
actually my only gripe with the game so far. Why the f.ck they couldn't
replicate the SA car physics I don't know. They had the car handling
almost perfect in SA and it seems they couldn't stop fiddling with it
until they f.cked it up.

Also, real physics in a console game? f.ck off, what's the point? you
will NEVER get a real sense of speed in a computer game, plus how many
cars do you know of where you drive it with a 360 or ps3 controller?
It's not as if they were going for a simulation style game anyway, so
why even try? I find it hard to believe that with all the months of
testing the car handling etc they must have done, they managed to get it
so wrong.

Still though, great f.cking game... I'm off to smack Ricky Gervais round
the head with a baseball bat...

I just let off the gas. I find it you drive the realistic car like,
well, a real car, it's easy. :)

I've started to enjoy sluing around at high speed, except when I'm
actually in a real hurry to get there. One of my saves has the verdict
"soccer mom" on my driving and I'm very near the end of the game, so I
ran another and made sure I got at least sloppy jalopy :O)

Seems to me in GTA4, cars just LOVE to skid out exactly 180 degrees away from where you
want to be. Handbrakin' seems a LOT more touchy compared to previous GTAs on the PS2(I'm
on the 360 now). Steep learning curve to quickly tap A to initiate a handbrake turn. But
hey, plenty of practice available in multiplayer races.
