Best case:  March

Worst case:  Never

Somewhere in between those two.  My personal guess is October, but I'd love to be wrong...

Are there any plans for a san andreas two, like the gta3 and vice city
thingies?

For the PSP, you mean?  Rockstar states they "have no plans" for future
GTA's on the PSP, probably because of disappointing sales.  I still think
they'd have done better if they'd made an original GTA for the PSP, but
I'd have to agree that there probably just aren't enough potential sales
out there to make it worth doing.  Too bad...

Right now their entire (GTA) focus is on GTA4 and the downloadable
content that will be coming after.  They're planning DLC through 2009 and
probably after.

I don't know what that's a quarter of, but it's certainly not a fiscal quarter.

Anyway, "planned for" is hardly a promise of when it'll be out.  Rockstar is being very tightlipped about
development (as usual) so there's no knowing what's going on there.  But I find it hard to believe they're
going to release their most anticipated title without a metric ton of publicity and that requires a bit of a
lead time.  More than a couple weeks, anyway.  Once they have a firm release date, we'll know about it
far in advance.  But they aren't going to want to disappoint their fans a second time.  If we're hearing
nothing, then it's going to be a while.

Just my opinion, and worth about what you paid for it...

PS:  I loved that third trailer they released.  Very cinematic.

Well, they've released a few more pictures also, so I'd say the Rockstar
Games hype machine is back up to a moderate hum.
