When it actually came to it, I did everything from Burn and Lap (my
original problem one) up to but not including City Slicking in one
sitting. They all took, on average about four tries. A couple of
them, like the "90" and the barrel roll (Alley Oop?) were just flukes,
but hey, they all count. I attempted City Slicking once and then had
a couple of days break. After that, it took about four or five
attempts to sneak a bronze in.

Yes.
I found some races I wasn't expecting in LV. The ones that include a
loop around the LV orbital highway in a Turismo (which I won) and an
FCR900 race through the desert (which I, uhm, didn't).
I blagged a Hunter from Heli Hell but I'm a bit disappointed that
Brown Thunder isn't the doddle I was expecting.

as is well known round here I hate the Hunter. I think i did
eventually manage to get the thing round its course but I've never
liked it except for a quick blast at some stuff for fun. Luckily I am
not obsessed with 100% :O)

The one that took me the most tries was Burn And Lap. The camera angle
was just too slow at spinning round whilst powersliding, and I
generally tend to run out of fingers controlling the right stick to
move the camera aangle *and* keeping precise control of the Banshee.
Alley-Oop was a lot of fun, way back to GTAIII and VC I was doing
stunts like that. In VC, hit the jump in Washington Beach near the
police HQ and you can get a great cinematic camera view of the barrel
roll :o)
Cheers,
Rob
