Um, okay. Hope you can still buy weapons somewhere, and they're not only
just rewards given out for completing parts of the bame.

Aw, crap! You still get hungry? I thought Rockstar had dropped all that
nonsense. I wonder if you'll have the option to "teleport" the cab to
its destination rather than experiencing the whole ride in realtime. I
can see the latter driving some people up the wall (in realtime yet)...

I don't know what "police searches you" means but hopefully you can still
steal a cab if you really need one.

Long as it still has the first person driving view, I'm happy. That's
the only way to experience the city, far as I'm concerned. Hopefuly
they've removed that damn "stunt camera" view that the game switches to
every time you hit a bump or steep incline while riding a motorcycle in
first person mode. That has made me crash so damn many times...

Now this is cool, especially early in the game when you don't know the
layout of the city yet. Of course, knowing the route and being able to
follow it are two different things, especially with 3000 cops on your
a.s. :)
> - You can walk, run or sprint. Latter will make you exhausted after a

The difference between walk and run is probably determined by how far you
push the thumbstick, so I'll probably be jogging everywhere like in all
the previous games...

HAHAHA! I love it!

Getting the run/hide/target/shoot game mechanic right is going to be very
tough, and I hope Rockstar does at least a half-decent job of it this
time around.

There's still lots more I'd like to know, but every little bit helps.
Thanks!

If you have a wanted level, obviously.

I'd rather have the stunt cam as a replay option, maybe with the option to
save it. You could also then have stunts you perform show up on TV news
spots/stupid stunt shows, you earn money based coverage rather than just the
stunt.

This is old news. You just need to make a call to meet with
your arms dealer.

Argh. The lower camera was my main problem with San Andreas.

Same here, going fast with vehicles fitted with hydraulics (And yes,
there would be some with them by default!) was difficult as you
couldn't move the left stick to alter the camera angle.
I'm positive I've seen at least two 3rd person perspective games that
allow you to change the angle to your preference and save it as a
default. Was it Saint's Row, or that other XBox one? I might even be
thinking of Halo.
Cheers,
Rob

Exactly. Bring back the GTA3/VC angle.

I had the same problem with Saints Row, just not as bad. Not sure about
Halo, but given the way the Warthog controls worked you're probably right.

None of those images are anything to do with GTAIV.

sometimes imagevenue.com messes up. i checked all the images.
the 1st one indeed linked to something totally unrelated to GTAIV.
but the rest linked to the GTA IV scans.
the 2nd time i clicked the 1st image, it was a GTAIV scan.

Yeah in retrospect I wish I thought of that. Truth to be told I simply
messed up. Twice.

It was probably due to the lower camera angle...
