I did the Bloodring, Chiliad Challenge, Hippy Shopper and caught up on the
firing range, so I'm pretty much caught up... except for this piece of sh.t
mission. How the hell do you get the coronas that are so far off the ground?
I am no physicist or expert in pinball mechanics. Goddamn!

It helps if you have full bike skill. Get the easy ones first to build up
time - ride the bike forwards and down the ramp into the dry dock and pick
up everything down there. Get back up and do the ones over the dock gates.
You should end up with the hard ones and 90 seconds in which to do them. I
think there are six or seven of them. Each time you ride up the wall, pitch
forward slightly so you land cleanly. The ones on the side walls are harder
because you can't see them and you need to start your climb off to one side
so that your apex matches where the corona is. Use its shadow to work out
where it is.

I found much quicker to collect the coronas in this order:

1. Roar forward to collect the corona and use the "handbrake" to turn
in quickly and cross the narrow bridge.

2. Collect the coronas and drop in to the bowl, get the coronas next to
and and line yourself up with the metal grille thing in he ground.
Lean forward slightly on the bike and speed for the end of the dry
dock. With any luck you'll fly up and collect the high corona.

3. From here, use the ramp to get back in to the bowl (2 coronas).

4. As Gareth said, picth the bike forward to not only gain more speed
  but to land cleanly too.

5. It also really, really helps to use the HUD map in the bottom left
to line-up the bike with the next corona.

This is still one of my favourite side-tasks in the entire series. The
first time I beat it I had a few more goes and worked out the optimum
route.

I can beat this first time now, and that includes travelling to SF at
the very start of the game with a 4-star wanted level.

Cheers,
Rob

Orion_SR made a great video of that challenge:
