It's been free since May 18th, 2006 at 5:32:28pm, at the very least, when
the page was last modified.

*Now* available? I seem to remember grabbing my copy somewhere around
May or June last year!
I'd really like them to release London1969, my PC just doesn't seem to
like displaying it properly.
Cheers,
Rob

Personally, I just paid the $10 that the combo pack of GTA/London
1969/GTA2 goes for 'round here. :)

$10 bucks? I'd be lucky to find it in a bargain bin somewhere in this
country!
In London I've generally found for PC gaming that shops either:
1. Only get the new games in for maximum profit and rarely stock older
games.
2. Are shops that do stock old games but don't seem to know which ones
are good.
And of course, the typical response when I ask for a game that's been
dual-released on the PC and XBox360 is, no, but we do have the XBox360
version.
Cheers,
Rob

The link for the game is this:
http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/
But you need to give your own address so you can download it?
That sucks
Has anyone the direct link to the actual files?
I don't want to give my address

Not really, read the disclaimer to find out why.

Tough, you're going to have to. I'm sure you know a warez site
somewhere that will probably have it anyway.

So a developer is releasing a game for free yet you refuse to give your
address. Why don't you just pirate the game as you normally would?

Quoting from that page;
PLEASE NOTE that while this game may be downloaded for free by all who
register by filling out the form on this page, it is NOT freeware and
may not be mirrored or duplicated by any third parties without express
written consent from Rockstar Games.
So you don't want to register, and want to get the game without
registering in defiance of the terms set - so much for your anti-pirate
stance.
How nice of you to make your real views so clearly evident.

Too bad. Obtaining them <anywhere else> is PIRACY according to the
EULA.
Oh, did you not buy them already retail ? Oh, I forgot... copy
protection...
Seems as if you will just have to do without, sacrificed to your
uniquely convoluted "principles", like the nutty reason you gave for
not having a broadband connection. You are one very, very screwed-up
individual.
The sole RATIONAL reason for you being on these newsgroups is
practising your mastery of written English. You seem to be doing quite
well, although your vocabulary is very limited and you erroneously
capitalize your most frequently-repeated words.
