More tow truck screen shots. This time, four tow trucks pulling a sports
car.

A bit further down the road from that last shot, I managed to collide with
car, spin out of control, and lose the entire load. Everything caught fire
and exploded in a big mess.

Looks like the driver of the Roadster was so shocked with what they were
seeing they ran into the vehicle in front of them...

I'm curious, but since I am lazy and hate walking I have started using
a tow truck to get the cars for the ship. I've noted a few times there
seems to be a real problem between the truck and the ground, as if
they didn't deal with it properly. I usually come up the rail ramp off
the docks but have started using the roads as sometimes the truck
seems to try to sink in or starts doing this crazy bounce. the hook
often just seems to be falling through the body of the cars and can be
a real pain to attach.

Last night as i was towing a car down to the ship I lightly clipped an
oncoming car and next thing both me and the car were airborne, doing a
barrel roll and coming down on the other side reasonably unscathed...
couldn't do that deliberately if I tried :O)

I've got a little MPEG generator that takes s-vid from the video card and
converts it to MPEG, and transmits it via USB2 to a capture PC. I use it for
producing animation tutorial videos (no system hit, unlike FRAPS etc).

It would be really cool if you could get a capture program which "rolls" the
footage captured so it's only ever keeping the last two minutes (say) of
gameplay. You leave it running all the time, and if something unique
happens, you just go to the other PC and stop capture so you've got a video
of it. If nothing worthwhile happens, you leave it going without fear of
eating your HDD space...

that would be cool. Mind, it wouldn't have helped me as I play on the
xbox or ps2, but actually, i forgot, isn't the xbox version supposed
to have a replay facility? damn! if I'd have used me noggin I could
have plugged it into my tv card and recorded the few seconds of
replay!

It would work, if you have a PC within composite or s-video range of the
console.

I've done it ages ago using my tv card, though this one doesn't have
s-video.
I just tested the playback and it appears to be short and no sound, so
it would be restricted but I will try and remember next time anything
really interesting happens.

Interesting shot, that first one.  Part of the truck is missing and I can
see CJ sitting on thin air with a disembodied hood in front and crane
behind him.  Don't think I've seen a car partially disappear like that
before.  Does it happen to you often?

Strange things happen with my screen capture program. That anomaly appears
on the capture, but not on the original screen.

I had to discard another shot ... ALL of the tow trucks were invisible in
that screen capture.

I don't know why these strange things happen. It's not uncommon, but doesn't
happen all the time.

Are you running this on a PC?
