We all love the ped chatter in the various GTA games, there's been a
number of threads on it.
Well I just had a real life one. Was walking back to the office from
the sandwich shop and just heard from a passer by:
"tantrums get smacks, not cuddles"
I thought I had dropped through into an alternate reality, too much
late night GTA :-)

Oooh - violent parent - must have been trained in GTA. No, wait: no children
in GTA.
I found the best way to deal with tantrums was to laugh out loud.

It's just as well you where not tempted to yank the nearest driver out
of their car and go and mow said pedestrian down before said perception
of alternative reality faded or that would have left you with some
explaining to do!!

I'm always a little nervous when out I'm driving and a song from VC or SA
comes on the radio. Better to change the station than to risk my brain
skipping a gear.
I also try to adhere to the rule, "Never drive in the Real World within 30
minutes of having played a GTA game."
