With my vintage PS2 1st edition copy bought on the day it was released
(so it has the fuel consumption bug), I finally defeated Supply Lines!
Now I just have the oysters to collect and I'm at 100%.

I thought the playpen for "New World Army" was kinda cool.  I'm
assuming since I'm at >98% done that we don't ever get to go back to
it, though.  Is that correct?

Yea, bye-bye Zero!

Unfortunately no, you cannot return to the playpen on the PS2/XBOX
versions of the game.

It is completely possible on the PC version, but it's not so much fun
as the mission items such as the helicopter and whatnot are not there
as they are not called for by the mission SCM file.

<poke> Oh yes you can!

Using the gym glitch you can return to it, and it's surprisingly easy
too.

See the Hidden Interiors list at

http://www.gtacentral.com/carpetdweller/

for more info. It also has a very detailed guide on how to successfully
navigate between the interiors too.

You're right about the vehicles though. Only vehicles that are supposed
to be in any given interior will be there when you get there
"illegally" (ie: Tricking the game). The only ones I can think of are
the Liberty City Sentinel in the back of St. Marks Bistro and the
Hotring racers in the stadium.

I wish they'd made a sub-game with the RC Tanks.

Cheers,
Rob

Agree: the RC tanks mission rocked! Another thing they could have made
more of.

I think it may be time to start a 'If they were doing another 3d GTA a`
la San Andreas, what would you have liked to be included?' thread.

My list will run into a few pages....

Pardon me, but 'fuel consumption *bug*'???  Do you mean to say that my
utterly sucking at that mission may lie with a bug in the mission itself an
not me?  Well, I certainly hope so!

Not so much a bug as in they recognised the difficulty of the mission
had been made way to high on the PS2 version and therefore altered it
in later ports to reduce the level of fuel consumption. The Hot Coffee
removal patch also further reduced fuel consumption (A small change not
credited in the readme for it) so the mission is not at all difficult
in the v1.1 edition of San Andreas.
