Hey...
Sometimes ago I came across this site with photos of real places
compared against the photos taken in the game. It had comparison
between Los Santos vs Los Angeles, San Fierro vs San Francisco, Las
Venturas vs Las Vegas - in short all three cities.
But it seems I can't find it anywhere now... if anyone knows about it
could u please share it here

Thanks

Except that the Garver Bridge isn't the Bay Bridge but the Forth of
Firth roadbridge, with Kincaid Bridge being the Firth of Forth
railbridge, both in Scotland, as someone pointed out here some time
back.

Um, they actually point out that the bridge is the Forth Bridge, right
at the bottom of the link

I remember seeing a site like that too, but for GTAIII. Francis Intl.
Airport is based on LAX for example.

Glen Weinstein's guide on http://www.gamefaqs.com/ has some links to
pictures on just about everything in San Andreas. Some of them are
quite obscure. Did you know that the observatory building is modelled
on a real life on in America, the very same that was used 'Rebel
Without A Cause'?

Cheers,

What's the LA observatory that the ST:Voyager crew visit when they get sent
back to 1997? That's been used in a ton of movies and TV shows. (the
rocketeer too, I believe)

I've got a feeling it's the same one, although I never really had much
interest in Voyager.

LA can't have that many famous observatories, can it?

There are two, Griffith Park (in the hills) and Mount Wilson (in the
mountains).

Griffith Planetarium.  The planetarium used to used as an obversatory
but the light pollution from the LA basin destroyed that aspect.  It
is part of Griffith Park which is on the hills that overlook LA.  The
plaentarium boast one of the world's two dual hemsphere
astroprojectors.

This venue has been used for many television shows and movies (from "A
Rebel Without A Cause" to "Terminator" to "The Fast and The Furious")

It also used to a great place to go for the Laser shows.

Heh heh heh. Yea... :)

Mind you, I though Paula was quite doable back then. In fact still is,
in a MILF-kind of way. ;)

LOL - I had to google for that reference. Not bad either.
Hm, how 'bout some hot Paula-on-Stifler's-mom action! ;)

We need more MILFs in GTA.

If this were a question about VC instead of SA, I would suggest
watching Miami Vice (MV).   I have been watching the MV series lately
and I am amazed at how much it resembles VC (or at how VC was modeled
after MV.  CSI: Miami doesn't even come close to VC when compared with
Miami Vice.
