What is the purpose of finishing the game in the first place ?
If one has finished over 99 % of any game, why not just delete all
savepoints and start again, with maybe another difficulty setting ?

I've got saves for all four Playstation2 GTAs spanning the game. If I
fancy a play of a favourite mission or decide to try and exploit the
game engine (a la Cleve) than I don't have to play through a good
portion of the game again.
The added bonus is that I always do the miscellaneous missions and
tasks first, some of which are so long they get tedious doing them over
and over (You wouldn't believe how long it took to find all 100 spray
tags).
Cheers,
Rob
