Hi everybody!
this is the first time I "fall" in this NG, and it's cause I have an
emergence... I did the 99,47% of San Andreas, and I still have to end
Taxi mission: I already know how to do that (in fact I already
transported 11 passengers), but now it says (I translate from the
italian version) "There R no passengers around here. Search more". This
happens wherever, whenever, and anyway... what can I do?
Thanks in advance!

end your mission and restart it. Do it in San Fierro or Las Venturas, plenty
of passengers around there.

Sounds like you got the infamous taxi glitch.
To my knowledge there isn't any fix available for that, other than reverting
to a save that isn't glitched.
One thing that is known to occasionally (doesn't happen every time) cause
the glitch is flying before you get your license from the flying school.
Another which might cause it is the LV stadium events (Kickstart /
Dirttrack).
So if you just did one of those, - try the save before.

Another glitch which is nice to know of is the basketball glitch, - if you
save at Madd Dogg's mansion there wont be any basketballs available anymore.
So if you plan to play the basketball minigame, don't save at the mansion.
Luckily basketball isn't required for 100%, but unfortunately the taxi
mission is.

DDDDamn! :-(
I always save in the same slot!
Where can I look for fixes? Could a reinstall solve it?
THANKS

Unfortunately, there is no fix for it, and the only way to get to 100% is to
start again and do the Taxi mission early.

What is the purpose of finishing the game in the first place ?
If one has finished over 99 % of any game, why not just delete all
savepoints and start again, with maybe another difficulty setting ?

I've got saves for all four Playstation2 GTAs spanning the game. If I
fancy a play of a favourite mission or decide to try and exploit the
game engine (a la Cleve) than I don't have to play through a good
portion of the game again.

The added bonus is that I always do the miscellaneous missions and
tasks first, some of which are so long they get tedious doing them over
and over (You wouldn't believe how long it took to find all 100 spray
tags).

Cheers,
Rob
