Someone was asking about no-star missions in LV.  Here are a couple; not
sure if they've been mentioned yet:

Black Project -- after you leave with the jetpack.  (Pretty useless, because
you're in the jetpack and can't get out of it.)

You've Had Your Chips -- once the gun battle starts.  Nice time to swipe a
Rhino from Area 69.

You can still explore the Easter Basin naval base, although if you're
anything like me you probably took the time to explore it in one
of Toreno's mission (Up, Up And Away??).

I'm quite glad the hangar at Verdant Meadows is so close for that very
reason :o)

The Rhino remains one of my top vehicles. Other than the cosmetic
changes it now behaves not-dissimilar to the Monster (R1 for quick
turning/4 wheel drive) and can climb hills almost as well as the
Patriot.

I still think it's odd that it's not on proper caterpillar tracks (Yet).

Cheers,
Rob

Or play hide and seek with the SAMs.

heh, i've started doing that one my build up save file. I just did
enough flying to get the license early so now I am deliberately flying
over forbidden land just to get tracked.

Have you ever gotten a SAM site to blow itself up? Now sure if it works with
all of them but if you land on top of one with the jetpack on the missiles
loop overhead and come back down on top of you. You take a big hit but feck
it.

Oh yes. One of my first experiments with how these things worked was
this method and a s**t load of satchel charges.

I thought it funny how I was trying to nick the chopper and kept on
getting bombarded with missiles even though I was still on the ground.

As it turns out, there's a SAM launcher in the paddock, and not on it's
own like all the others.

Try and get it to shoot down the SA News or police choppers. It takes a
bit of skill to set up but believe me, you'll laugh your a.s off :o)

Right.

Another fun thing to do is to stand (with the jetpack on) right next to the
fence that's surrounds the SAM site.  It fires, and the missile arcs down
and hits the ground several yards away.  You can use this idea to make those
missiles take out the law vehicles that come up against the outside fence.
You "aim" the missiles just by standing at the right place.  Rather funny.

Nice one. That is totally cool.
Wonder if it works with an attacking Hydra...

I've only just found out that it's possible to destroy them with any
rapid fire weapon (Not just explosives).

It's really run trying to machine-gun them down with the Hunter, all
you have to do is swerve left or right and hope that the missile
doesn't home back at ya'.

I also really wish the two SAM launchers on the aircraft carrier worked
:o(

"You've had your chips" was the one I used, most usually,
for the final two oysters - Easter Naval Base.
