UPDATED The fight over "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" came to a
climax on Wednesday as the Parents Television Council called for a
recall of the video game and a statement from the game maker seemed to
confirm the Hot Coffee mod was indeed not a hack and was present
within the game as BetaNews research had uncovered.

RockStar indirectly confirmed this late Monday, issuing a statement
saying it was providing a patch to prevent the modification in already
purchased titles and would stop selling the current version while it
works on a non-modifiable version of the game. Wednesday's
developments seem to confirm that the scenes depicted within the game
were indeed created by the game manufacturer.

Effective immediately, the ESRB has changed the rating of the current
version of the game to "AO" for adults only, and would provide
stickers to retailers wishing to continue selling the current version.
The updated version would retain the original "M" for mature rating.
It is not immediately clear how the change would affect its
availability.

Earlier Wednesday, BetaNews published research that found the chances
of the modification being some kind of hack produced by someone not
related with the game are slim at best, contradicting earlier
statements by the game maker. Researchers were able to locate codes
that open up the same scenes on both Xbox and PlayStation 2.

The discovery indicated that the scenes were likely produced by
Rockstar itself, at it is practically impossible for the code of an
Xbox or PS2 game to be altered unlike PC games. It also questioned how
truthful and forthcoming Rockstar Games had been over the origins of
the Hot Coffee mod.

"Take-Two and Rockstar Games have always worked to keep mature-themed
video game content out of the hands of children and we will continue
to work closely with the ESRB and community leaders to improve and
better promote a reliable rating system to help consumers make
informed choices about which video games are appropriate for each
individual," Paul Eibeler, Take-Two's President and Chief Executive
Officer said in a statement.

Heck, it was already an 18 certificate game, children aren't supposed to
play it anyway. And if someone goes to the trouble of downloading a crack to
see the rude stuff, then that's their decision. Ho hum.

And the funny part for me is that R* are releasing a patch for 'already
purchased titles'. How does this work then, do the cops come round and
stand over you while you install the patch or is it something you
decide to do for yourself? And if the latter, couldn't you equally well
decide not to use the Hot Coffee mod in the first place?

The uptight frigid mommy can update the game on her precious baby's machine.
So that, even if Precious attempts to install the mod it will not work.
However, daddy's machine had better not be touched.  After all, using CJ to
schlong it to his girl friends is the best action daddy has had since he and
mommy made Precious.

Oops, I am talking like a married guy again.

From one married man to another.......some advice.......

Drop Precious off at babysitter/ grandparents
Get Mommy to dress up like a Ho from San Andreas (liberal amounts of alcohol
maybe required)
Drive Mommy to a secluded spot (or sometimes just behind some trees works)
Bang Mommy for all your worth whilst shouting things like "CJ's tha
man!"......"I hope your clean bitch!"......

Optional is then kicking Mommy out of the car and decapitating her to get
your money back........after all how many women carry £15000 per year
married on them !

Remember: Like CJ always carry a camera on you to take those impromptu
photos of sexual degradation........

Enough alcohol to get the wife drunk enough to consent to dressing like a
ho..........£20
Petrol used to drive about until a secluded spot is found........£5
Valenting needed to remove stains from back seat upholstery......£25
Photos of the missus dressed like a ho on the backseat, knickers round
ankles and eyes rolling..........Priceless!

Far from it. IMO the fun gets wilder, it's just you share it with just one
person.

Is that all? In real life - you must drive a Blista Compact.

£5 will get me approx 45-50 miles.......and thats a Toyota Carina
estate........thats more than far enough to find a good car rocking
spot.......
Still I do live on the edge of town with 100's of square miles of
countryside around..............

Funny that you comment on the petrol though...........it was the cost of the
valenting that got to me.......still that stain was a good 'un!

Ho hum - I'm a "Landstalker" driver so I get about half that. Still, I live
in the countryside so I only *need* half that...

My wife's car looks like it's had a bukkake* marathon in it - that's what
kids do for you.

I also should have said that I live near Dundee (Scotland)........petrol is
alot cheaper here than down south in England.....

"Bukkake (from the Japanese verb ?????, bukkakeru: "to douse, to pour") is a
group sex practice wherein a series of men take turns ejaculating on a
person, most often a woman. There are strong overtones of erotic humiliation
in this practice. "

And I thought I was a bit kinky!!!!!
LOL

Still...... you know what these SUV drivers are like !

I kind of agree, but R* were inexcusably arrogant, and they
deliberately gamed the system. They included content on the disc, and
did not disclose it to the ESRB. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised
if the ESRB refuse to rate their next game on the grounds that R* have
acted in a dishonest manner.

I do like the way that they dont mind all the drug abuse, prostitution,
pimping, racism, swearing, slashing of people with swords, shooting off of
heads and limbs, robbery, car stealing, running pedestrians over, blowing up
of cars with people on, setting people on fire, etc...

But, they get all up in arms about two people having sex.

I assume they dont mind if i run about shooting people in my street, but as
soon as i tell them i am going home to have 'relations' with my wife, they'd
start calling the cops?

Weird.
PhilHibbs - 25 Jul 2005 16:07 GMT
Drug abuse? Is drug use portrayed in anything but a negative light at
any point in the game? CJ never uses drugs, even if you say yes to the
drug dealer.

This sounds like someone suggests, that Rockstar Games themselves
programmed the mod and released it into the wild. They knew, that
if it had been in the game from the beginning, that would have
led to even bigger troubles. So they included it in the game and
waited for the release of the mod which sets it free, until the
PC version was here. Now it should have looked all, like some
anonymous hacker did it. Of course, this is just a rumor!

If it was that way, what a genius move this had been. So cool!

I bought the game on day 1.  I found the first version of the mod a couple
of days later.
