I'm thinking of getting this product. Any users have any problems or advice
before I do?

You need 3 1280x1024 monitors, not more, not less, not bigger, not smaller,
not widescreen. The device itself gets very warm, almost hot when the PC is
on, and stays warm even when it isn't. It wouldn't be a bad idea to plug the
monitors and 3h2go into a single powerstrip.

It's less expensive to get a TrackIR

Oh God , now there's an idea.....   if you got $ to burn ....  $500 or so
per monitor ... $200 for TrackIR makes a  $1700  bill not iincluding
tax...... ouch!

would be nice though .

Yes, but only briefly. The TIR is now on the other rig with two widescreens.
The triple head is on the laptop, doing more boring things.

It's a joy to be able to read the lettering on the gauges. Set the zoom
level high enough so you can actually see what you're doing. Head motion
takes care of the rest. The two 22" widescreens are a good match for the
normal field of vision from 2 or 3 feet away. You glance down, just a slight
bob of the head, to read the instruments, not unlike real life. The 3 19"
screens were a bit wide for the height, but not objectionably so. The lack
of a bezel down the center would be better for the gaming rig, but the
laptop takes only one external monitor. A dual head for the two widescreens
would have been best, but what I have is what I have.

I have Matrox triple-head2go, having always been a Matrox fan.Iwould
recommend gettting three identical flat screens NOT wide screens as that wd
induce distortion. But go for it. It works fine with TrackIR but I am not a
great fan as it makes me giddy!
I have an unusual set-up as my central screen IS a wide view.I share it
with my old computer which still has the Matrox Parhelia. That is why I do
not recommend it with the TH2G. I use a Belkin KVM switch to share my
keyboard and mouse between the two machines. It all works well.I only change
the central screen to wide view when I sim.

I am also using the TH2G and love it.  Pretty hard to describe the benefits
but I wouldn't fly without it now.  The immersion factor is awesome.  I too
recommend purchasing three identical monitors if you can.  FWIW, I'm also
using the TrackIR and think that it is a perfect compliment to the TH2G.  I
have not had any problems with my unit so nothing there to report.
