It took me a long time to find him in Origins, but he was surprisingly easy to

I lost Red Mage but yeah he was pretty easy.  Of course by that point I was
like level 50.  Red Mage unfortunately had been the only character to not
loose any Experience all game.

The only real way to FF one is to never let the experience points of your
four players waver.  That's how I've played it since day one, back in 90.  
It wasn't till 2 before I realized that it didn't matter
