I recall that near the beginning of the game you can actually find the
remains of a guy who falls from the sky, with scrolls that will
temporarily give yourself that same super-jumping ability. It's a fun
way to instantly die early on. :)

Yeah. I suppose the main selling point of the game is how huge it is,
and how much attention to detail there is in the layout of everything
ranging from the geography to the items (if not so much in the graphics
and animation).

After you've wandered pretty much everywhere the graphics become really
annoying. Something to really consider in such a length essentially
infinite game. Even if it's still a "light sword attack" you probably ought
to come up with either 30 or so slightly different animations for it or make
up some sort of in game physics engine that will make it completely random.
Also I hate how every person in the word is the exact same size and build
due to the armor system. My Orc character should tower over everyone damn
it! Also look menacing.
