Along with their pet Elder Drake.

no... but you can double the experience if you use the Lady Luck DS.

Assuming you can get lady luck to survive against them. I suppose with
adamantite it'd be possible, but worth it? Questionable. ;-)

You only need one girl to wear the LL DS, I equip another as a Dark Knight
and the other as a Gunner, with her HP in critical status while wearing the
Catnip accessory.  When she does her Trigger Happy attack each shot does
9999 HP of damage and the Elder Drake drops on the first turn- very easy way
to kill them.  All the girls get the benefit of the double EP, not just the
Lady Luck girl.

So if you have 3 Lady Lucks is the effect cumulative?

Only the girl(s) wearing the LL dresssphere gets double EP, not the
others. The double items are cumulative, but I don't know if Gillionaire
is cumulative... All three wearing LL in the Mi'ihen Highroad Dungeon
will quickly get you all the M-Bombs and L-Bombs you need to blast down
those walls...

Yeah, I totally blew it- I confused double items with double experience.
You only have to have one girl wearing the LL DS in order to get the double
items, but all have to wear it if they all want douple experience.

NO!  I'm sorry!!! I had a total brainfart last night when I posted that!!!
Only the girl wearing the LL DS gets the double experience.  I'm a total
idiot!!!!

Ah, heh. I have the catnip, but I don't use it. Just too damn abusable.

Then again, I don't use LL for the double xp, either -- mostly because I
don't want one girl getting way ahead of the others.

Didn't manage to beat Shinra at Sphere Break. Besides, it's not *that*
important. Just a minor gripe

Is there another way to get Lady Luck?

Not that I know of...

You can go back and play Shinra again anytime in the Luca locker rooms.
It's more difficult the second try though.  Or if it were a REAL RPG you
could slaughter Shinra in his sleep and TAKE it.

Beat Shinra at a HARDER version of Sphere Break.

Practice Sphere-break in chapter two in Luca. Learn how the echo-bonus
works, and focus on chaining up as many echo-bonuses as possible. You'll
get the 50 points in no time ... I got really pissed when I ended up
with 49 points once, and that's when I really bothered go through the
tutorial for it.

Yeah, I didn't bother to read most of the  tutorial so I didn't know about
echo bonuses at first.  That makes it MUCH easier, though it's still a bit
tricky.

It's enough of a PITA that I don't bother playing SB in Luca in chapter
5...
