How much different endings are there? I'd check Gamefaq's or something

There's the base ending, then depending on whether or not you fulfilled
certain requirements, there's an extra scene or two.

To be more specific, there's three endings. there's the regular ending, the
"good" ending which you get if you press x in a certain scene at the end
(couldn't really be more specific than that without giving you a bit of a
spoiler), and the "perfect ending", which you get by completing the game
100%, and getting the "good" ending as well.

I'm thinking to get the good ending there is a place earlier in the game
where you must also press X.

There's actually 5.
1)  Regular ending
2)  Press 'x' at a certain scene during the regular ending.

Pressing 'x' 5 times during a certain scene in the game will give you the
other three.

3)  Choose 'No' at the choice you're given during the ending.
4)  Choose 'Yes' during the choice you're given during the ending.
5)  Get 100% and choose 'Yes' during the choice you're given during the end.

I guess technically there's a 6th ending, if you lose to the 2nd last boss.

Yeah, there is a base ending and all the additional endings are just
additions based on a few other things.  There is 1 of 2 scenes depending on
an action taken or not taken in the game plus an additional FMV+scene if you
get 100% completion.

Yup. You keep all your completion %, items, accessories, garment grids,
dresspheres, etc from your previous game. the only thing you can't keep is
your levels. And with a few items like the AP egg and Key To Success, you
can gain levels 2 or 3 times as fast as you did the first time around.

Yuna's mascot dressphere just disappeared. f.ck YOU FFX-2.

That's odd. It didn't do that for me. Probably just some nasty steenking
bug.

Yeah, you'll probably need a bit of help to get the perfect ending though.
It's VERY unlikely you'll fulfill the requirements without the use of a
FAQ or something.

Och well, I'll just play through normally just now and I'll do all the
optional sidequests and stuff on my 2nd play through (bang goes my social
life!). Cheers for your help everyone!

Social life? What's that? I don't have time for silly things like people,
and fresh air.

Well, count me out then. I'm a sick enough mofo without adding bacteria into
the mix.
