ffvii limit breaks

Chriz - 20 Feb 2004 23:41 GMT We all know that Cloud's best limit is Omnilash, and Tifia's is Final Heaven, but some of the others have better limit breaks that aren't level four. I'm not sure which limit is better for Barret, since Ungermax and Catastrophe both do multiple hits, but I think Catastrophe might be stronger, or at least it should be. Red XIII's Cosmo Memory, for example only does 9999 HP damage once and he doesn't really have any multiple hit ones, so what's best for him? For Yuffie I think Doom of the Living is the best since it does multiple attacks kind of like Omnilash, or is Bloodfest better? I think Highwind's the best for Cid because it does the most attacks, unless other attacks inflict more damage. Anyway, that's all for now.

I'm up to the final showdown (I think) in North Crater, but I'm raising all characters to level 99. One left now. I want to move on and finish, but then again I haven't got every single materia because they seem to be hard to get; I'm referring to the ones won at the Chocobo races. They're not all that important though and I might just skip getting them.

Man you still trying to get them?!? I can't remember having any problems, that must be getting annoying! But if you want to master the game you have to get them and master them, so that you can get your master materia. Anyway, keep racing and keep the FFVII flag flying!

No I haven't been racing lately, but I am contemplating doing it, BUT I don't think pink materia gets a fully mastered version, does it? The problem is that I got items from the Chocobo chick, but I didn't get all the materias that were on offer. I got all Summons mastered, so I want to get the second Master summon materia, but if I pair it with counter, will it still be able to use KOTR as a counter attack? Also if I get master command (the yellow one) will I still have 4x cut because I have one Master command from either Ruby or Emerald, but it doesn't appear to have mug, just steal and there's no 4x cut.

Well I didn't bother waiting around to get Enemy Away or Counter magic materia, but I finished the game instead. Sephiroth was quite easy, only Super Nova did major damage, but no one was knocked out. The funny thing was I mastered Enemy skill just before this battle on the way to battle Jenova, but never ended up being able to use Shadow Flare (the last enemy skill), but hey it was all finished none the less. It was a really good game, but I'll still need to think it through to see if I like it better than the others I've played. Is there a storyline summary somewhere, so I can take the whole game into account and compare it to the others?

Not that I can point out, run a search in this news group, I read a few where people are trying to explain the story line in more depth than you can take in with the game. Plus there the neww FFVII CGI movie coming out in the not so distant future, that may explain things a little more.

If you pair magic counter with KOTR then you will counter attack with it yep. Master command should have mug and 4x cut, think you might has to press either left or right to select it, I know its there just can't remember where, keep lookin. Whats Pink materia? can't remember
