is there anyway to skip out cutscenes in FF8?? cos my disc is getting a bit
old and worn out and skips a lot on the cutscenes and has even crashed the
game a couple of times! i hope there is! thanks for any help!

Look, video rental stores here has a special disc polishing machine which
will completely remove all surface scatches for only a few dollars a disc.
I'm sure something like this should be available where you are.

When the cut-scene starts, open and close the disk tray (or cover if on the
PS1)...
