OK, so I got Tidus' legendary weapon, Caladblog, the Sun Crest and the Sun
Sigil and took them to crystal in Macalania Woods, and presented them. It
gave Caladblag the ability 'Double Overdrive', but I didn't get 'No AP'
removed! What's wrong?!?

Hand it to the crystal a second time. The first shot only applies the
crest; the second shot applies the sigil.

The ultimate weapons essentially make the entire game (except the
monster arena) a cakewalk, though. Just thought you'd like to know.

Since FFX seems to be the theme of the moment, was anyone else
irritated by the customize system? I liked the idea, but it took so
long to gather the requisite items (except near the end of the game)
that I hardly ever actually customized anything. Waste of a fun
system.

The only battle I have left is Braska's Final Aeon, so I'm not too worried
about the weapon making it too easy, since I hardly have any left to play.
Thanks for your help!

Yeah.  All the best abilities were way overpriced.   Hell even the shitty
ones were.  Those 99 items won in the monster arena should have been enough
to outfit everyone.  Heck all skills should have cost like 10 of each item
max.  I would have used it a lot more.

The same goes for upgrading Aeons by the way.

Why are they so good? Is it the extra damage or just double overdrive
or something? I think I'm never gonna have Tidus' ultimate weapon, coz
the Chocobo race is too frustrating and difficult (not to mention time
consuming), but whoever can do it they are quite skilled. Who's is
easiest to aquire? Don't bother wasting your time explaining how to
get anything on me, I will check a walkthrough for that.

I liked the ability to to move characters around the grid to basically
anywhere I wanted, but you need too many APs to move around to get
your character to the 9999HP damage point. Even then you can
strengthen them to go beyond 9999HP damage with the break damage
limit.

Do it again.

Hey people, what are the abilities that Tidus has with a fully powered
up celestial weapon? I don't know if I can do the stupid bloody
Chocobo race. The lowest I got was about 0.5.7 or something like that
and even that was somewhat of a fluke. I haven't realy gotten anything
near that since. If I didn't hit 2 birds then I could have done it.
DAMN! Is there any other way to get the sun sigil (that's the correct
item I think) so I can get Tidus' weapon up to max? Everyone else has
got thier Celestial weapons except him.

I was thinking perhaps I could win it in Blitzball. I have observed
how Blitzball functions and have found ways of altering the items you
get, so that's why I think it's a possibility. When you play in the
league (about two games from the start when tournament cannot be
chosen) I always save after a game. Now when tournament becomes
available for the first time (not in the game, but first time after
any league game) it says the items up for grabs. if you aren't
satisfied you can use the "soft reset" and go back and check the items
up for grabs. They will be different unless you saved knowing the
previous items. So is it likely that it could be a sun sigil at any
point?

Another Blitzball related question I have is about an item I am going
to win once the league season is over. It's called "underdog's secret"
(or something like that). Does anyone know what that is?  Anyway,
enough questions from me for now.

I am not near my PS2 right now, but I believe it has Break Damage Limit,
Evade and Counter, Magic Counter, and Triple Overdrive.  There is no
other way (short of using some sort of game hack device) other than
beating 0:0.0 in the race.

You can alter all the items you want to by resetting the game, but you
will *never* get the Sun Sigil from Blitzball.  There *is* a sigil in
the blitzball items list, but it is for Wakka, and can only be placed up
for winning after you have won all of Wakka's overdrives from tournament
play.
