FFX-2 tower calibration bug?

I just calibrated 6 of the towers perfectly and the guy in the agency
doesn't give me a Samurai's Honor Garment Grid. What is going on? I
tried asking him after only calibrating 5 of them and he still didn't
give it to me. Has anyone successfully gotten it from him in the
English version?

If you try to re-calibrate a tower that you had previously calibrated
and fail that tower is no longer calibrated! Note that the man only
tells you your high score on a tower, not whether the tower is
currently calibrated.

I have. All you have to do is try all 10 towers.

IIRC, you actually have to attempt them all -- whether you
successfully calibrate them all or not is another matter.

Yep, this was the problem. I figured it out shortly after posting the
message. Man, tower 10 is a nightmare. I don't know how anyone could
ever get a perfect on that one.

From other boards, I've heard that really the only reliable thing is
to work out a set of symbols and then write them all down and then
enter them right-to-left to get tower 10 calibrated fully.

Well, 7 is just as bad if not worse. As for 10, I can get all the way
up to about 26 hits, but then I lose it.

Anyway, is there a special prize for doing all 10 of them?

Yep. You get a 'Samurai's Honor Garment Grid'.

You get that for only doing 5 of them. Well, technically, you get it
for ATTEMPTING all 10 of them, and perfectly calibrating at least 5.
My question is whether or not you get anything ELSE for perfectly
calibrating all 10.

Each tower has a prize depending on the progress toward complete
calibration that you get in chests during the Chapter 5 mission that
you fight a Rhyos at each of 1-9 and the Humbaba at #10.
