Just a few questions about FFX, Luca and the blitzball tournament...
1. How do I get Wakkas legendary weapon sigil?
I know I need to play lots of blitzball and win all his overdrives, but then
all walkthroughs I've read so far just says I should keep playing. And I've
played blitz until I've gone cray about it! So... Is there something else I
need to do? Like making 20 goals in one match or something?
2. What's the "most outrageous gag" I can do?
The camera man in Luca says that I won't get an interview unless I show them
my "most outrageous gag". Anyone done this?
3. What about the supposed fiend that's attracted to music?
Outside the sphere theater, you meet with a guy that claims that a certain
music could attract fiends, and that you should keep your eyes open.
I guess it has something to do with the sphere theatre itself, but I've not
had the time (with all blitzing and stuff) to try playing every music in the
game, and then go search for a possible fiend in every corner of Luca.
Anyone else found anything?
And I think that's all... ;) Thanks in advance!

I Think you have to play blitz for the overdrives, then there will be a
50% change, that the sigil is the prise for the first place in the Spira
league in the next season! So you have to play the league and shouzld
save before the last blitz. Then see if the sigil appears, if not reload
and play again. Then just simply win the league and you get the sigil!
Easy, isn´t it? Though I can´t handle the blitzgame, that one´s out of
my reach! ;-(

I haven´t heard of that!

I think that has something to do with the end and I don´t want to be a
spoiler! See below!

SPOILALARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sin fears the music you hear in the temples (I think it was call song of
the ancients?), so the group desides to let Spira sing this song, when
they gonna attack Sin!

I think to get the second thing you actually need to sign Wakka up as a
player, but that happens towards the end.

Nor have I. It's nothing, those guys with the camera later tell you to stop
annoying them.

Probably, unless it's that battle training thing next to the theatre where
you can battle various fiends. I think that's the first place you see it.

Heard this too, but when I played as most I allready had him signed up...

They always tell you to stop annoying them ;)
I just got the feeling that if this had been in one of the earlier games in
the FF series, there should be a way to do something really special to
unlock some additional fun...
There are far too few "odd" secrets in FFX (unless these ones are really
well hidden)

Thanks for the spoiler warning ;)
Although this is the fifth time I play this game from the start, I've not
actually finished it yet... ;)
Sigh... Perhaps it's all about Sin, but I actually hoped for something a bit
more spicey...

Hmm... Not sure... I think there's one in Kilika as well, and although I
know there's one in besaid, I'm not quite sure if you can fight fiends on
it...
And as the guy warning you doesn't show up until after you've fought
Yunalesca, It would be a bit odd to tell you about that so late in the
game...
Thanks for your answers though, and again in advance to any future answers
as well... ;)

Spoiler stuff below

Sin does not fear the music. Jecht is Sin. Jecht always like the Hymn
of the Faith, the song calms him. Since Jecht is Sin and Sin is Jecht,
hearing the song makes him not want to go crazy killing things, which
let's you attack Sin's weakspot and walk through him and get to Jecht,
at which point he can't hear the Hymn so well anymore and reverts to a
killing machine (in the form of Braska's Final Aeon).

Well said!! I think there's nothing more to add then.

Please take my excuses for putting things in a slightly wrong way! The
point was, that this hymn has an effect on Sin, sorry!
Marcel
Well, it seems as if I made it this time (getting the Jupiter Sigil that
is)!
I finished the last league, saved my game and loaded it a couple of times,
getting new first prizes all the time, until the Sigil showed up!
I tried this the last time too, but it just wouldn't work, even after
another three leagues...
It would almost seem as if you should NOT include Wakka in your team to get
his legendary weapon...?

He doesn't need to be in your team, that doesn't matter. I never used Wakka
myself. I think he sucks at Blitzball.

I never used him because by the time I got him, the others out-levelled him
by far. BTW I kept the orginal team the whole time.
