Changing subjects slightly, it's funny looking at reviews on Amazon of FF
11 and FFX-2.  People write things like "I can't wait till I get a chance
to play this game, it's the greatest game ever" and give it 5/5.  Am I the
only one who sees flawed logic in giving a game you have never played a
5/5?

Flawed logic can be canceled out by faulty premises if you're careful
about it, though.

Considering it is 3:30 AM and I have been up since 7:30 AM, this went
completely over my head.  Pretend I just said "Hi, my name is Jim and I
like sports" and explain that again.  <feeling retarded right now>

The Apollo moon landing never happened, therefore Neil Armstrong was
the first man to walk upon the moon.

Ignore me, It says the ps2 requirements in the system requirement section,
but it doesn't say at the Platform.

Haw, either everyone here is playing a joke on you or there are a lot
of fanboys preordering from Amazon.

I see you put it through a spell-checker beforehand.

Three Kingdoms is an excellent novel.  Which edition/translation are you
reading?

It's the online translation edited by Snow N. Snow, and based on the
Brewitt-Taylor translation.  I read the third edition offline and make
comments on the fifth edition online.

Yes, I'm pretty aware of the site.  I am not a big fan of the translation, to be
honest.  I've got a couple copies (hardcover & paperback) of the most recent
Moss Roberts translation w/ annotations that is pretty good.

I was just curious.  Are you finished, or how far into it are you?

I am, because it's free.

I just got past the Battle of Guandu.

"Final Fantasy Tactics is what a preschooler thinks war is like. The
combat somehow manages to be even less realistic and entertaining
than in previous Final Fantasy games. The characters are all
one-dimensional archetypes in a plot as gripping as the latest
Peanuts Comic in a setting as fascinating and believable as if it was
conceived by Scientific Creationists. The game is ploddingly dull,
the graphics are so childish that if someone sees you playing it you
should probably feel ashamed, and the movie 'Extreme Ops' has got
nothing on the ridiculously serious storyline."
