Hi, I'm having trouble breeding chocobos in FFVII.  When I breed my 'good'
chocobo and my 'great' chocobo with the Carob Nut, I get a yellow chocobo
instead of a blue or green chocobo.  Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Have you raced them both up to S class?

Actually, class A is quite enough. Class B is also possible, but you need a
lot of luck to get river/mountain chocobos.

1. Race them up to A class.

2. Feed them greens until there is no more improvement in their abilities.

3. Be sure to save outside the farm. The chocobo breeding is somewhat
random, and if you get the wrong kind, you can just reset the game and try
again.
