Hey, I sold my FFXI Deluxe game and now I have received this message of the
buyer:

However when I try to register it, I am told the registration codes are
invalid. I am not sure what to do about this, I contacted the developers who
told me I need to buy a new copy. Someone else on a forum told me that you
need to have deleted the original account for it to work. Do you know any
way to solve the problem?

I already deleted the original account before I sold it so I'm not sure what
is going on? does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks  FF buddies!

I read in the FFXI handbook when I first started playing it in
February that those codes are good for exactly once, and that
reselling the game is illegal.  The person who bought yours will just
have to find a new copy...

Let me rephrase that.  I didn't mean 'illegal'; just 'in violation of
the TOS'
