Hi there...

For some reason, I'm having difficulty with these little pain in the
a.ses and am looking for suggestions/help in defeating them (Prince,
Queen, King, pumpkin, etc.)  All my characters are level 36 or 37, and
their not killing me but I fought them for an hour last night before I
hit the button on the playstation out of frustration and went to bed.
I've tried online suggestions about waiting until their in a group and
hit them with a quickening chain, but that didn't work out for me and
just ended up depleting my MP.  I've also tried focusing on one and got
his HP down to nothing, then he just parried every physical blow and I
couldn't get magic off on him before the little sh.t ran away to heal
himself...Anyway, does someone have a good gambit set-up, weapon/magic
selection and strategy to defeat these little !@#$'s?

Thanks,

Scott

Hi again and never mind....I must have been having a bad night.  I went
back tonight and beat them in under 5 minutes.  The biggest change in
strategy was I equiped mirror mail to all 3 characters.  This freed
them up to just hammer away on them one at a time.  What had been
happening is that while my guys were wasting time removing the negative
status from themselves, they'd go and heal themselves then start the
never ending cycle over again and again.  Mirror mail took care of that
and occasionally the bosses would get affected with thier own spells
allowing me to KO them quickly.  Just had to set up my gambits to use
potions and not magic.

Thanks anyway,

Scott

What I like to do when fighting a boss or mark is equip that
niho-whatchamacallit that reverses the effects of items such as eye drops
etc. then drop a remedy on them.  Chances are they'll be vulnerable to at
least one of the effects of the reversed remedy.  Then I *unequip* it, and
that makes things much easier...
