what's the name of the song

I believe it's in FFX (although it could be X-2) where a girl is singing
on a stage? It's sort of a popular scene in the game, and the song is
upbeat. I've been searching, but I can't seem to find anything that
looks like it.

It sounds like you're talking about the intro of FFX-2 where Yuna is singing
on stage. Don't know the name of the song though.

Real Emotion - 1000 words?

1000 Words is the song she sings later in the game in the Thunder
plains.

Simple, It is called "Real Emotion" and it was voiced by Jade from
"Sweetbox"
