Hi, I want to go to the secret dungeon in clam lands.
Now I have potenial lvl 5 chocobos. But some are timid and some are bold.
Does this matter?

Not really. Send first 3 lvl 1 chocobo, and have them goingn to calm lands.
Fight 8 battles, come back, SAVE and speak with Clasko. If anyone of them
did not return, soft reset and speak with Clasko again. Raise the 3 chocobos
to lvl 2 and do the same. Then lvl 3, lvl4 and finally lvl 5. But be aware
that with lvl 5 you need to send out 4 chocobos. So it worked with me, at
least.

It should be noted that I'm pretty sure you have to raise three DIFFERENT
chocobos each time.  You can't just take the same three level 1 chocobos and
raise them to level 2.  This is for each level etc.

I remember that I got bored with the Chocobo raising, and brought my 4
Lv3 Chocobos to level 5 without sending them out and then when all of
them where back after sending them out, voila, Seceret Dungeon. (I
didn't even send them all out at the same time.)

Greetings,
Nadine

Not true. On the first game I catched 4 potential lvl 5 chocobos and I sent
them to calm lands raising the level after each time. Then, on New Game
Plus, I sent out just what I found around. But it seems there is not just
one specific rule for the chocobo sending.

That's good to know.  I just though I had read that somewhere once.  Guess
not, or the original person was wrong.

Bold are better at searching certain areas while timid and normal are better in
other areas. It effects the items you find and the amount of stamina the
chocobo uses while searching. Try to fill your stable with a mix of different
level 5 chocobos.
