FFT for me. It just incorporates all of the various game themes so
perfectly. It's really very good.

I've never actually finished a FF game apart from FFX to hear the ending
sequence so I guess that would have to be my answer. :0)

Well maybe it would be worth your while to go back and beat some of them
again, granted you beat them in the first place ^_^

No way, that's definitely 4.  I'd recognize it anywhere.

My favorite part is where it goes 'doo doo doo.'

For me it would have to be FFVIII, I love the ending to this showing
all the characters at the party so you can see what there actually
getting upto after saving the world!

I enjoyed the ending of FF8 as well. As for the party at the end, they never
show Squall even after Irvine takes control of the camcorder.

Yes they do, you just didn't watch it far enough.  It cuts to the balcany
with Squall and Rinoa, and she points to the sky.

But I did watch it thru to the end, twice All they show is Rinoa looking to
the right as she points up but didn't show Squall.
You do get the idea that he's there. He's the only logical one behind the
cam before Irvine takes it and then again is the person Rinoa is with on the
balcony.

Then you didn't get the best ending.

He is there plain as day and she smiles at him.

Better yet, just go on kazaa or imesh and search for "final fantasy 8
complete ending".  You'll see what I mean.

Darksheer is correct.

yeah you can see squall plain as day.
Blackstone - 23 Jul 2004 23:46 GMT

If this is the case, then there is more than one ending to it. I've played
the game twice with Rinoa in my party but this time it's without her and
I've noticed there are different responses at certain points of the game up
to where I am now.

There's only one ending to FF8.

Forgot to mention that you should always wait until you're absolutely
certain that a game is over before you quit it, especially in the case
of console RPGs.

Ok, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong. I never watched the complete
credits. I missed the rest. When it stopped with her pointing up and then
went into just credits I assumed it was finished. After seeing those pics,
I'll definitely watch thru all of the credits the next time :)

Looking through these screenshots, I see there are things I didn't notice in
the FF8 ending theme. That frame of Squall with a hole in his face, for
example. I've replayed the end quite a few times and I don't recall seeing
this before. Bizarre.

I think you might be slightly confused. As mentioned, there's only one
ending. You just have to wait until the very end of the credits to see
an extra bit of FMV.

Then you're blind. He's in the ending. Furthermore, it's the one and
only time in the game where you see him smile.

It actually made me cry the first time I saw it, but I'm sentimental
when it comes to emotional moments.

Read my last post. I watched it up to where it stopped with her pointing up
to the sky and then went into just the credits. I turned the game off
thinking that was it and didn't know there was more coming.

Ah-ha! There's your mistake! Never turn off a Square game upon
finishing it until you see the end of the credits. A lot of other
games, as well. And some movies, too.

You didn't watch what happened after the credits, did you? If you've played
a game all the way through, you may as well sit through the credits.

I only completed 3 FF's so far, but it'd have to be Suteki Da Ne from
FFX.
[check out my 'Fav Music in FF' thread]

But other than that, Crono Trigger is pwnage

Hmmm.... I think I'll have to say FFVI (I liked the way all the
characters' themes blended into each other)

Visually, though, I'll have to go with FFVIII - the camcorder thing was
great.
