Fallout 1 - which merchant has the most caps?

I'm finding a ton of stuff in the Glow and some of it I can't use and would
like to sell. I tried the merchant and the gun dealer in The Hub but they
only have about 2k of caps on them while the armor I'm trying to sell is
worth 6k. I don't want any of their other stuff, just caps.

I think stimpacks are a good backup when they run out of caps.

Hey is it possible to store stuff in a locker somewhere without having to
worry about it disappearing?

I have found that the area's around where the car in FO2 appears in
each site is okay for leaving extra gear with out it disappearing, at
least that I can tell. However, shelves and lockers are easier see
what you've got and how much.

The Gun Runners, the merchant there ALWAYS has 2000 caps, when he runs
out, just stop talking to him and talk again; poof, instant 2000 caps.
They've also got some of the best guns and ammo money(Er, umŠ whatever
you've got;-) can buy in the game.

To get to them, go to the LA Boneyard, north from Adytum and northeast
from the Deathclaw area. You'll find yourself next to a moat of
radioactive sludge, cross it and you're there.
