Hello,
I started a new character a while back and I just traded for two
stacks of chemistry journals from the woman trader onboard the tanker.
The problem is my character won't read them, when I right click the
only options I get are Look, Discard, and Cancell. There is no Use
option. Do I need more Inteligence, Science, Medical, or something
else?

Thanks,
Seagull

Nope; sorry.  They are just useless.  Seriously.

Yes, I stumbled across them recently, again, was so far towards the end
game, I stopped carrying them around, was trying to trigger a response.
Went into the trunk with all the other bobbles.

Wonder if they're another uncompleted quest item.  During discussions
for the FO Bible, at one point of the production of FO2, there was a
larger number of locations and quests. Some were "left on the editing
room floor" to cliche cinematically.

There was an "UPS" quest in FO1 to fetch scientific texts to upgrade
the power armor.  Maybe there were plans for similar, given the high
tech level of the Chinese enclave in San Fran.

Or again ,,, ""They are just useless.  Seriously.""
