Hi,

Is anyone still reading this group? I only recently got hold of a copy of
Fallout 2 from a bargain bin and i love it!

I've learnt about Combat implants from the computer in Vault City but can't
get anyone to perform the operation on me, where/who do i have to go/see?

Cheers.

Yep, people do still read this group: I'm currently on my first ever
play through F2 too, it's great isn't it?

Unfortunately I have no idea about Combat Implants though.

You need to fix the auto-doc in the back room before talking to Andrew
about it.

I'm pretty sure that I had it done in San Fran also, inside the BOS facility.

I'm not so sure about this one... AFAIK, the SF brotherhood outpost
allow you to use the stat-raising modules, and can remove your sixth
toe...

Hey!  You're supposed to keep the toe!  It's proof that you're the
chosen one!

The doctor in San Fran will perform the operation.

You have two choices:

1. Outside VC. If you fixed his auto-doc, he will perform some combat
implants for you for a modest price, but *with extra ill effects*. You'll
get infections and penalty to charisma.

2. Wait till San Fran. A doctor there will do all combat implants for you
for an expensive price, with no extra ill effects.

IIRC in both cases you need some doctor skills, but that might be needed
only to get the information about the implants.
