D.J. - 15 Jul 2008 22:17 GMT I heard about it, and came back to EQ 1 last month.
I was wondering if anyone else was using the free 54 Living Legacy to return.

I don't know, as I have only taken one of my characters up from 45 to 50 in the past 12 days. The rest of my characters are below 40th. The hot zones have an extra 25 percent exp until July 25. I have noticed more players in the game recently.
Hmm... I got a brand new character to 30th in the past 32 weeks.
You might check the official forums, lots of returning players with old armor and stats, and they are benefiting from the defiant random armor drops. Lower Guk is supposed to be an instance and a LIving Legacy area until the end of the promo.

That should be in the past 3 weeks.

I don't have 1000's of AAs, and sure, that makes it harder, but I'm gradually earning more AAs as I continue to level. Sony also changed things recently so that AAs come faster if you don't have many yet, but of course it still takes a while to get them. But they're also adding more ways for soloers, two-boxers, and other small groups to get both regular and AA xp. In short, they're trying hard to make it easier for casual players to catch up.

Neither do I, just the one.
I managed to get one character up to 51st this past weekend. And an AA on Monday. All solo. Mostly in Forgotten Hallls. I got some trio platinum jewlery with 3 augs each recently as well. HP at 5k, and mana isn't too far behind.
Yeah, the solo thing has improved over the past 4 years.

EQ is no longer worth paying for imo.
Your all welcome!
