Ok, so this is the patch that was announced for Tuesday and
scheduled for Thursday, right? That explains why it's happening today.

No, this is emergency maintenance, and it looks like it's affecting the
EQ websites.

Anyone playing EQ2 affected?

"Beginning at 1am PDT/8am GMT on Wednesday, March 12th all SOE services
including game servers, forums, game websites, and subscription services
will be unavailable due to system maintenance. The estimated downtime is
6 hours.

We apologize for this interruption and will resume all affected services
as soon as the maintenance is completed."
