As I understand it you can have a maximum of 15 hp/mana per tick via
items.  Is this the total max regen you can have or just the max for
item regen?  meaning can I have 15 hp regen by items and have
chloroplast add on to that?  same for mana only KEI or Clairvoyance?

Thanks.

I can't remember but I'm pretty sure the max is still 15 regardless of
items and spells you got.  So if you're getting 15/tick then you won't
get more.

I could be wrong though.

That can't be right.  There are spells which themselves give more than
15/tick -- those spells would be pretty useless if this were the case.

I'm pretty sure the 15/tick limit only applies to equipped items.

15/tick is the cap for mana regen (unless you have the AA that raises it.
you can increase the cap to 20 this way).

I was under the impression that the cap for worn hp regen was much higher.
40hp/tick, maybe?  I could be wrong on that.

This is the max from items.  It's a bit confusing, because tribute counts
as items, and some items have effects that count as spells rather than worn
effects.

Yup, spells are over and above the worn regen cap.  AFAIK, there is no
cap on spell regen.

After all, heal-over-time spells are just a form of regen, and they
get pretty big.

Mana regen is capped at 15 worn.  You can increase that to 20 worn by
spending 25 AA (5aa per 1ft).  That 15(20) stacks with all stacking spell
effects, meditation, and the Mental Clarity AA.

HP Regen worn cap is totally independent and much higher than 15 at level
70.  The worn hp regen cap stacks with all stacking spells, aa, etc.

is the correct answer.

I think worn HP regen was capped at 35 at level 65, not sure if it's
gone up at level 70.

At 65 worn regen caps at 35, it increases by 2 every level over 65, which
makes the worn regen cap at  level 70 equal to 45.

Not just at level 70.  My monk's had a fungi for a while (15 regen
right there) plus some other regen items, and they stack.  And I
just now tried putting a fungi and a darkwater pearl ring on my 35 SK
and he got all 16 regen (on top of his base regen).

So I'm not sure what the limit is, but it's more than 15 even at
fairly low levels.
